SyncLedger is an offline-first accounting application. Your primary accounting data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. Optional features like cloud backup may require network access.

Information we collect

We believe in minimal data collection. We only collect:

• Basic identifiers you provide (e.g., phone number).
• Device identifiers for security binding.
• Backup metadata required for Google Drive sync.

How we use information

Your data is used strictly for:

• Providing secure activation via OTP.
• Facilitating backup and restore flows.
• Improving overall application stability.

Data storage

Your business records (ledgers, journal entries, invoices) are stored locally on your device. If you enable Google Drive backup, a copy of your database file is uploaded to your personal Drive account.
